Cedar Waxwings & Cardinal

Yesterday, while photographing the Townsend's Solitaire at Fenner Nature Center, the buckthorne tree that the Solitaire frequents attracted a a flock of 19 Cedar Waxwings (Bombycilla cedrorum) and a chirpy Northern Cardinal (Cardinalis cardinalis).  The Solitaire chased off the Waxwings, but let the Cardinal snack on its berries as long as it wanted to do so.  Posted below are a few photos of the Waxwings and a video of the Cardinal eating and singing.
