I stopped at Harris Nature Center on Saturday whilst out enjoying the amazingly beautiful sunny day. I knew that the center had some hawks they had rescued, but I did not know how close you could get to them. I had to photograph them through their cage, but with a high-power lens and a little patience that did not cause an issue. I know people love eagles, but the Red Tailed Hawk will always be one of my favorite birds-of-prey.
