On the west side of Corunna, Michigan, in McCurdy Park, the local historical society has relocated a number of old buildings to create a historical village. They have also moved an old train caboose to the site. The paint job could use a touch up, especially the logo. The caboose belonged to the Grand Trunk Western railroad. This company still services Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois with its main termini in Port Huron and Chicago. The old depot in REO Town, currently undergoing renovation and refitting as an office for the Board of Water & Light, once served as a Grand Trunk Western depot in Lansing. Most likely, this caboose traveled through Lansing more than once in its lifetime.
