Valerie and I took a trip to a place called French Lick, Indiana last weekend. French Lick is a very small place in the middle of absolutely nowhere. The basketball player, Larry Bird, was from there, but he clearly has not invested any of his millions in the place. We stayed at the beautifully restored West Baden Springs Resort, which seems to be the only place that the poor economy has not ravaged in the area. We took a short train ride at the Indiana Railway Museum. The photos here are all from the museum. It was sort of overcast and dreary when we were there, so I played with the colors of these photos a bit. The first three are each composites of seven photos taken at different exposures and melded together. The last two are just some creative editing to make them less blah.
